Long Time Ago...
Long time ago, demons and such maleficent creatures were sealed away from reality. Long time ago, they were banished from the real world, trapped in a realm of chaos and doom. Yet, they actively attempted to get their territories back, and take over reality. That be through tales, nightmares, and fear. Control the Living through manipulation of their emotions. So that one day, what they took away would return to the shadows. In the meantime, Wills-o-the-wisp... ghosts, fairies, or spirits of stillborn children flitting between hell and heaven.. These metaphorical creatures are sometimes seen by wandering travelers at night, seeking their way back home. They guide the living back to safety, lead the lost minds back to reality... They refer to a hope, a goal that one strives to reach. Said Evil spirits trapped you in their realm during your sleep, trying to get you stuck with them in your nightmares. Follow the Wills-o-the-wisp's path, and escape to return to reality. Though, don't be scared, and remember: It is not real.
But what ,if... You didn't wake up ?

Uff... after like 30 round i give up :P still a nice game :D simple and really funny with a cool story too. (/^-^)/
But the hearts are a real scam. U instantly die when falling down, so in 30 Rounds i only lost 1 Heart by a boss :P
Haha ! I tried to make the game difficult to make it more addictive, and I totally undersatnd the controls were hard. It's still a pleasure to hear someone taking that much time for my game ! Thanks for playing !
I think the design is solid and I thought you nailed the procedural level stitching. Even though you told me the boss was coming, it still scared the shit out of me.
I wasn't able to complete it unfortunately because of the low frame rate and the punishing difficulty.
All that aside, Congrats on your submission.
